Amador Valley P.E. clothes
The Amador Valley PTSA is responsible for the ordering, sale, and inventory of the school PE uniform. PE clothes (AV t-shirt, purple shorts and optional sweatpants) will be available for purchase during walk-through registration (August 15th, 16th, and 17th) and on make-up registration day (August 22nd.)
- PE is a required class for freshmen and sophomores, and optional for upper classmen
- All clothes are adult sizes, and range from Small to XXL
- Shorts and t-shirts are $10 each; sweatpants are $20; PE locks $5.00
- Clothes that have been written on, worn, or washed may not be returned for exchange or refund
- PE locks can be returned only if they are in their original packaging and are not damaged
- Checks should be made payable to AVHS PTSA and can be combined with other PTSA purchases (membership/student directory, locks, CASA donation)
- PE clothes will be purchased in the MP room and picked up in the large gym
Students must provide a lock to secure their PE clothes at school. The PTSA will be selling high quality, brand name combination locks at walk-through registration for $5.00 each. This is strictly for your convenience and is not a required purchase. Locks will be sold throughout the school year, but students are encouraged to purchase their lock at walk-through registration. Please note: student athletes may need an additional combination lock to secure athletic equipment and uniforms.
You are strongly encouraged to purchase PE clothes during walk-through registration! The Physical Education Department requires students to be dressed out for PE classes by Tuesday, September 5th. Students not dressed out in required PE clothes may receive dress cuts which can affect their grade.
In the event your student’s PE clothes are back ordered, they will be available for pick up the first week of school during the student’s assigned PE period. You will be asked to complete a back-order form that includes your phone number and e-mail address so we can send reminders to insure pick-up. All items not picked up within 30 days will be returned to inventory.
Students who choose to purchase PE clothes AFTER registration may do so the first week of school during their assigned PE class only. They will not be available for sale at the student activities during this week! Only those students who purchased PE clothes during registration and are picking up back ordered items will be guaranteed to receive the sizes, and quantities they ordered. Beginning September 5th, PE clothes will once again be available for sale at the student activities desk.
