Bricks: Contact Angela Holmes-Ramirez.
Advertise and take orders for inscribed bricks.  Once or twice a year, order bricks and place work order to have them installed on campus. This is a fundraiser.   

Coffee with the Principal:  Contact Nina Borchers.
Works with Principal’s admin and volunteers to coordinate location/refreshments for all Coffees with the Principal, about three a year, at school or private home.  Advertise event in the newsletter; ensure that someone is responsible for RSVP. 

Coat Check Coordinator:  Contact Kathleen Turner Meyer.
Contacts volunteers from email list to collect and return items at student dances. 3-4 evenings a year.

Crisis & Caring: Contact Tamra Girvan.
Over the winter holidays, works with the counselors to collect gift cards to grocery stores (Thanksgiving) and grocery and department store  (December holidays) to help AVHS families in need.

Scholarship Awards Night: CURRENTLY OPEN.
Coordinates the decorations for the lobby and stage for the Amador Theater during the senior scholarship awards ceremony in early June.  Orders flowers, contacts volunteers.

E-Scrip:  Contact Laura Keller.
Advertises and manages the E-Scrip program and other similar programs (Safeway, Target, Raleys). This is mostly done from home by computer. Walkthrough Registration is a big event to push this program for new signups.

Environment Education (fka Go Green):  Contact Jacki Stewart.
Works with Ecology Club and Leadership to promote and educate environmentally safe behavior and programs. Manages "Altamonte Fund" grant to purchase recycling bins as needed.

Graduation:  CURRENTLY OPEN.
Works with administration.  Coordinates volunteers from email list to decorate for graduation.   Orders flowers and coordinates donations/delivery of greenery. Possibly organize bow making or other decorations.

Grants:  Contact Al Cohen.
Processes AVHS staff/students applications for grants to bring to general meetings for approval.  Checks PTSA membership, prices, details and relevance to PTSA goals.  Follows up on payment/reimbursement procedures.  Keeps records  of grants.

Hospitality Chair:  Contact Sue Hurley at hurleysajj@gmail.com
Coordinates refreshments for meetings or other events using an email list.  Greets attendees to PTSA meetings, asks them to sign in, get a name badge, etc. Possibly organizes some appreciation tokens or events.

Newsletter Editor:  Contact Elizabeth Limesand at avexpress@comcast.net
This person produces our online newsletter using the Constant Contact tool. This goes out twice a month (on the 1st and 15th) with occasional special announcements. 

P.E. Clothes:  Contact Mart Gastineau at mgastineau@sbcglobal.net or  Dalice Godwin
Orders and manages inventory of PE uniforms. Two big selling periods are walkthrough registration and first weeks of school. Weekly, fill orders coming in during the school year by keeping supply with Student Activities staff.

Attends PPIE meetings and represents AVHS-PTSA. Ensures collaboration between both non-profit groups.

Reflections:  Contact Diane Van Wagner at [vanwagners4@gmail.com]
Coordinates the PTA Reflection (Arts) program within AVHS and works with Amador art teachers and Pleasanton Council Reflection Chair. This committee has a lot of guidance produced by National PTA. Displays students' artwork, plans simple reception or pizza luncheon for participants.

Registration:  Contact Kate Roush or Elizabeth Dallmann [ecdallmann@gmail.com].
Coordinates walkthrough registration for all AVHS parents. Includes scheduling volunteers, table setup, registration packets, ordering snacks for volunteers, etc. Most preparation is done before school starts and registration is usually 1 week before the first day of school.  

Scholarships: Contact Jennifer Shreve jenjs@comcast.net.
Organizes group of volunteers to fill student requests for scholarship forms. Publicize scholarships.  Coordinate PTSA academic and service scholarship program, including organizing committee of readers/scorers and choosing the winners. Make certs, order scholarship checks and present certs at "The Donnies."

Spirit Wear:  Contact Shelly Sheehan pskmsheehan@aol.com
Orders and coordinates sales of AVHS spirit wear (currently hoodies, caps, water bottles).  Primarily sells at Walk-thru registration, Pigskin and home football games, then fills occasional orders. Tracks sales.

Staff/Teacher Luncheons:  Contact Sue Hurley at Hurleysajj@gmail.com
Coordinates luncheons for the AVHS Staff, generally two luncheons and one dessert buffet. Approx. 150 in attendance. Works with caterer, provides centerpieces.

Online Student Directory:  Contact Jean Marie Beanland at [jm@beanland.com]
Administers and maintains the online PTSA member database.  Requires participation at walk-through registration and some inputting from home. Most of this occurs in  September and October.

Technology Rep:  Contact Victoria Rosenberg at  tulabelle@sbcglobal.net
Sits on the AVHS Technology Committee (meets a few times after school) to represent and provide input from PTSA.

Volunteer Coordinator:  Contact Elizabeth Dallmann [ecdallmann@gmail.com] 
Manages our database of volunteers collected during the beginning of the year and passes those lists to the relevant chairpeople. Periodically sends out requests for volunteers.

These co-chairs lead a committee organizing projects and seminars relating to student wellness.  Lots of flexibility for timing or interests.
